This platform, already secured and soon to be integrated into our university’s
website, is designed to facilitate communication and foster a sense of community among students. The operational management will be handled by the Global Engagement and Mobility Division and in particular by the Welcome Office. Overall, this initiative represents a significant step toward a more inclusive and supportive university experience for all students, enriching both their academic journey and fostering personal growth: a further step to enhance Tor Vergata University's reputation as an international, inclusive, and sustainable campus.
In the pilot phase, we have selected ambassadors from: Hindi/India, Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Russian- speaking communities. As ambassadors, these students will play a crucial role in welcoming and guiding new students, helping them to navigate the transition to university life. They will serve as peer mentors, offering support and sharing insights to help ease the challenges of adapting to a new academic and social environment.
