(Delta Pi 1984), a longtime member of the Detroit (MI) Alumni Chapter, as the new Grand Keeper of Records. Kyles’ election was historic as this was the first time since 1922 that Kappa Alpha Psi maintained an office of the Grand Keeper of Records. At the previous Grand Chapter Meeting in 2021, chapter delegates elected to split between the Grand Keeper of Records & Exchequer (GKOR&E) into the Grand Keeper of Records (GKOR) and the Grand Keeper of Exchequer (GKOE). Prior to his election as GKOR, Kyles served as a member of the 34th Grand Polemarch’s Administration Team as the At the 86th Grand Chapter Meeting in Tampa, FL, the Grand Chapter delegates elected the 24th Northern Province Polemarch Kevin D. Kyles

National Director of Organizational Effectiveness and led the COVID-19 Task Force. He was also the Chairman of the Strategic Plan Implementation Team, which oversees the execution of the fraternity’s five-year strategic plan. Upon election, Kyles wasted no time in establishing his vision for the office. “The Office of the Grand Keeper of Records of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., has a unique and critical responsibility to ensure that we serve, engage and connect our membership,”he asserts. “This includes direct oversight of membership servicing, marketing and commu- nications, and the maintenance of key non-financial records. I will manage these duties by applying robust business processes, configuring technology, and training our human capital. This will also require aligning with the fraternity’s strategic plan and reestablishing the Province Keeper of Records (PKOR) Taskforce.”
