purchase of a ChromaCUT XPro in Werne, Germany, and now the company reports that it will be installing a second Koenig & Bauer ChromaCUT later this year in Delmenhorst to increase capacity and help manage growth.

The success of the CorruCUT led to the subsequent employ more than 3,200 and revenue exceeds a billion Euros annually. Managers of Klingele’s plant in Delmenhorst made the investment in Koenig & Bauer’s CorruCUT high-board line rotary die cutter that features high graphic direct printing on corrugated. Like the ChromaCUT X Pro, the CorruCUT employs a second die-cut cylinder that can be set up for a subsequent job during the current production run, thus significantly reducing the downtime between jobs. As soon as one job is completed, mechanical change- over can begin and the machine is set up for the new pro- duction run. Wash up, anilox roll changes and format con- version in all units, for example, can be performed while running without any intervention by the machine operator. Fully automated job changeovers are now possible and indeed being realized. The CorruCUT installation in Delmenhorst was the first rotary die cutter from Koenig & Bauer that Dr. Klingele made the prudent decision to install and one that he and the management team at the plant are very pleased.
