This means we can cater to a wide array of packaging needs under one roof.” The company confirmed it will be also installing a Gaz- zella TW7200 in May 2024, which can handle triplewall board, expanding its capabilities even further. Cumberland’s other equipment includes a J&L Special- ty Folder Gluer, two Alliance Pre-feeders, and a Bobst 135" Specialty Folder Gluer. Cumberland Container Corporation was founded on 1968 and began production in July of 1969 in Monterey, Tennessee’s Industrial Zone. With five employees using used equipment and a 6,000-square-foot facility on a three-acre campus, they began producing boxes with the primary goal of supplying corrugated packaging and solutions for industrial custom- ers in the Upper Cumberland region. Today, after five decades of growth, they have 15 acres of land and facilities totaling 263,000 square feet for pro- duction and warehousing, and a diverse selection of ma- chinery. Cumberland Container is the second oldest industry in Monterey and has grown to be its second largest employ- er retaining an average of 85 employees. They current- ly serve the Tennessee, Southern and Middle Kentucky, Northern Georgia and Northern Alabama areas.
