The new VARTA® Professional Li-Ion was developed for the most demanding deep cycle leisure applications. Especially off-grid usage requires a higher overall capacity and DOD to supply the needed energy. That is why VARTA® Professionals A-class Li-Ion cells allow for the highest reliability and performance. Li-ion batteries offer more usable energy as they can be deep discharged up to 100% of their rated capacity. To maximise longevity, limit the depth of discharge to 80% and avoid dropping below 10%, a practice widely adopted as an industry standard. They offer more than 20 times longer cycle life and a significantly reduced weight compared to lead-acid to power electrical equipment for a homelike on-board living experience.
