Dr. V. Raymond Edman, currently President of Wheaton College, has recently been elected as the first Chancellor of the college. The action was taken at a meeting of the Board of Trustees at the request of Dr. Edman. At the same time the Board elected Dr. Hudson Taylor Armerding to the Presidency. The elections will be effective January, 1965. Dr. Edman has served as President for 25 years. Mrs. John M. Ballbach has been ap­ pointed as Dean of Women o f Moody Bible Institute following the retire­ ment of Miss Angelyn G. Dantuma. Mrs. Ballbach is the widow o f Dr. John M. Ballbach who for twenty years pastored th e Emmanue l Baptist Church of Wilmington, Delaware. Since her husband’s death in 1958, Mrs. Ballbach has been teaching in Wilmington. This past June she re­ ceived a master’s degree in education from the University of Delaware. Zuck is a graduate of Biola College, and Da l l as Theological Seminary, from which school he received his doctorate in 1961. Winona Walworth, Christian Educa­ tion consultant, and James R. Adair, editor o f Sunday School papers for Scripture Press Publications, have left for meetings and consultations in England and on the continent. Miss Walworth will team up with outstanding C h r i s t i a n Education leaders and pastors o f the British Isles in conducting a series of con­ ferences on the subject, “ Building Better Sunday Schools.” Mr. Adair will spend three weeks on the con­ tinent in Europe interviewing out­ standing Christian leaders. Future issues of the POWER magazines will carry feature stories gathered at various spots in Europe. Miss Muriel Hersom was recently in­ terviewed on A it Linkletter's HOUSE PARTY.
