Dear Family, You can make writing time fun by supporting your child’s creativity and curiosity. Use this journal to allow your child time to enjoy drawing and writing and to express original ideas . You and your child can use the instructions in this journal or change them to match your child’s interests. On the back cover, you’ll see examples of how writing develops from scribbling to letters and words. Accordingly, this journal starts with open spaces and then adds lines to write on as your child’s skills develop. Your child may also want to dictate ideas while you write them down .
