National Payroll Week

Pierce Chartered Accountants

MHR

The managed services department at MHR have been holding week-long celebrations involving plenty of fun activities for employees – these include daily quiz competitions, escape rooms, egg and spoon race, ‘kicky uppy’, family fortunes and an oscars ceremony.

It’s always lovely seeing young workers showing an interest in payroll and here is Pierce Chartered Accountants’ apprentice showing his support for NPW with a selfie poster.

Star Computers

George Hay Chartered Accountants

Star believes that the changes that take place in payroll today are nothing short of revolutionary and the impacts upon payroll bureaux are huge. Star celebrated the fantastic job that the unsung heroes of the payroll profession do for their employers and clients by vising as many as they could during NPW. Star visited clients in Dundee, Somerset and their own support and development teams. The sales team also nominated their ‘support team member of the year’ in recognition of the extra mile taken to help them

George Hay accountants’ payroll team Elaine, Andrea, Diane, Frances and Sam organised some fun activities for our three offices. To kick things off they put together a quiz for colleagues made up of perplexing payroll-related questions covering everything from tax codes to P60s and pension contributions. Staff made donations in exchange for cupcakes, scones and biscuits, and we also ran a ‘Where’s Workie?’ competition. We raised £92 which will goes to The Luton & Dunstable NICU Parents Accommodation Appeal charity.
