Organisations achieve PAS and PQP accreditation The Chartered Institute is pleased to announce that the following organisations have recently been accredited under either its Payroll Assurance Scheme (PAS) or Payroll Quality Partnership (PQP): ● Impellam Staffing UK (PAS) ● Moorepay Ltd (PAS) ● Nursing Midwifery Council (PAS) (New accreditation) ● Prospects Services (PAS) ● The Payroll Services Company (PAS) (New accreditation) ● The Royal Wolverhampton NHS trust (PAS) (New accreditation) ● Menzies LLP (PQP) ● NHS Share Business Services (Southampton) (PQP) (New accreditation) ● Royal Mail (PQP) ● University of Lincoln (PQP) Ken Pullar, CIPP’s chief executive officer, congratulated all the organisations on the successful accreditation. In 2016, the Payroll Assurance Scheme was updated to include the Payroll Quality Partnership accreditation, which means that those accredited also have CIPP-approved training programmes for their payroll people to remain skilled and compliant. Further details of the Payroll Assurance Scheme are available at http://bit.ly/2jKlOxv. Business benefits of the Payroll Assurance Scheme ● Improvements in process lead to greater effectiveness and efficiencies within the payroll function in turn leading to overall time and cost savings for the organisation. ● Use of the PAS accreditation logo on your organisation’s communications and marketing materials will demonstrate to employees, customers and suppliers that your organisation is dedicated to compliance and best practice. ● Increased staff motivation and improvements in productivity as it demonstrates the organisation’s investment in the staff’s learning and skills development. ● Improved service levels to colleagues (in-house payroll) or customers (managed service providers). The Payroll Assurance Scheme accreditation provides payroll departments with assurance that its payroll and associated processes are fit for purpose and comply with government legislation. It also ensures that it has the right payroll activities and suitable processes in place for picking up and preparing for legislative changes.
