What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving Day?
Dr. Todd: Having the day off and spending time with the family. Jenn: Football rivalry and naps! We have quite the variety of football fans in the family. Everyone knows how it is eating all that delicious food, then taking a nap while you wait for seconds! Joe: The appetizers my mom makes. She makes bacon wraps with onion that has been a tradition for over ten years! Megan: I love helping my mom cook and of course enjoying the delicious food all weekend. We also decorate our dining table with leaves, candles, and a big ceramic turkey in the middle. Danni: The meal preparation. Everyone is in the kitchen working together towards a common goal of getting the food on the table; it’s quality family time. Angie: The part where we get family together that doesn’t get to see each other all the time. My house is full with love and happiness that day. Ana: The turkey and the drinking. Yum! Sachelle: Being with loved ones. Valerie: Great conversations we all have…with football on in the background. Erica: Getting our whole family together in one place. Now that my generation is all getting older, married, and most of us have children, we never get together like we use to when we were younger. I have a few family members that I may not see for another year. Trina: I get to see all the people I care about and I get to be around them all day. Noel: Being surrounded by family and friends and Lots of FOOD. Stephanie: Cooking and spending time with family. Arlan: Grilling the turkey for my family…then seeing the satisfaction in their face at dinner.
