No one knows for sure what the future holds, however, recent figures from the Construction Skills Network Labour Market Intelligence Report for Northern Ireland forecasts the volume of construction to grow by an annual average rate of about 2.5% and over 5,000 additional workers will be needed by 2026 to meet the growing demand in the industry.
