In total 12 different systems were installed
to the commercial sector, acoustic glass partitioning for the media and recording industry as well as providing
over 24 floors over blocks BB BC and BD. In total 1,200 linear metres of glass was installed with various acoustic rating
bespoke glass partitions within a range of sectors such as pharmaceutical research and education. N UGENT provided MEP installation for the new 75,000m2 Ulster University, Belfast Campus alongside Main Contractors Saycr Somague. Due to the size and complexity of the building requirements NUGENT provided full MEP services for Block BD, Block BB refurbishment, and mechanical services for NIBEC process cooling in Block BC. The new campus is currently the largest building project in NI with over 15,500 students and staff. NUGENT
supplied installed and commissioned multiple MEP services for the prestigious building. Mechanical services include: low temperature hot water heating; chilled water; plumbing; sanitaryware; air conditioning; mechanical and natural ventilation; Natural Gas; dry riser and BMS installation. Electrical services include HV & LV main switchgear; fire detection and alarm with PAVA; general power supplies; meter monitoring; renewable systems; structural cabling; general and emergency lighting; access control; disabled refuge alarm system; lightning protection; security and CCTV. The
innovative project consisted of multiple complex MEP services including Energy Monitoring Systems to support the campus’ energy saving activities.
