ICPF Releases Workforce Development Report

Board Converting NEWS INTERNET DIRECTORY

The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) released a brand-new Workforce Development Report, in- tended to provide ideas and resources to help industry companies attract, retain, and develop a talented work- force in today’s competitive environment. Each quarter, ICPF will include relevant resources, case studies and articles providing examples, best practices and ideas that can be incorporated into your current work- force playbook. Successful organizations share a few common el- ements, but perhaps the most important indicator of achievement is having the right people. The report is or- ganized into two main sections: finding talent and retain- ing talent. Under finding talent, company hiring and talent acquisition, employees can find information on developing talent pipelines, optimizing the hiring process, and lever- aging onboarding for candidate success. The retaining talent section focuses on continuous learning and devel- opment opportunities, supervisory training and leadership development and company culture. Helpful resources throughout the quarter edition in- cludes a Workforce Development Playbook by the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership and ICPF’s own recruitment and retention resources.
