LIFT MENTORING PROGRAM

MAKE A LONG-LASTING CONNECTION WITH SOMEONE WHO WILL EMPOWER YOU IN YOUR CAREER PATH!

The Lift Mentoring Program exposes EWF members to new and different perspectives and inspires them to self-reflect on their experiences, define and achieve their career goals, and help steer them through work-life challenges. GOALS OF THE LIFT MENTORING PROGRAM • Sharpen your skills and presence while increasing your effectiveness and readiness for promotion • Foster one-to-one connections and relationships • Harness the wealth of knowledge and experience of our community • Impact the underrepresentation and underutilization of women in InfoSec, IT Risk Management, and Privacy

PROGRAM DETAILS • Lift runs in a 6-month time frame (January - June, and July - December) • Participants commit to meet at least once per month for 45–60 minutes • Mentees identify goals at the beginning as a foundation for monthly discussions • Participants are matched outside of their organization MENTOR REQUIREMENTS

We encourage women with 6+ years of experience to consider being a mentor. We provide on-demand learning to support your development as a Lift Mentor. Being a mentor is a leadership development opportunity and helps to support the pipeline of women in our field. All mentors are also eligible to achieve an EWF Master Mentor designation that you can use to elevate your personal brand.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE The Lift Mentoring Program is a member- only program and requires a six-month commitment. EWF Members can enroll as mentees, mentors, or both.

Erika Casupanan Keynote Speaker & Host, TV Personality, Storyteller

Don’t let her purple hair and petite frame fool you. Erika proves that personality, perseverance and charm come in all sorts of packages. As the first Canadian winner of SURVIVOR, Erika has been vulnerable and victorious in front of millions on TV. Now, she’s on a mission to inspire anyone who’s been underestimated to be resilient and embrace their full potential. Previously, Erika had a decade-long career in public relations, marketing and tech. After years of ghostwriting speeches and standing backstage holding a clipboard, she is honoured and thrilled to take center stage as a keynote speaker. With years of comedy training under her

belt through Second City and Sweet Action Theatre, she loves to throw in some laughs too. The lessons she learned as a Filipino immigrant navigating the corporate world have fuelled her passion for empowering underrepresented groups and overlooked experiences. After coming out at the age of 34, she encourages self-compassion and empathy for other queer late bloomers and allies. Erika elevates the stories of people who have been underestimated as a media personality and host of the Happy to See Me podcast. The Canadian reality TV darling has appeared on the Traitors Canada and as a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight Canada. Her writing has been featured in the Globe and Mail.

Edna Conway CEO EMC Advisors

Edna Conway is CEO of EMC Advisors, providing board and advisory services to enterprises and governments globally on technology, security, risk management and supply chain resilience. She most recently served as Microsoft’s VP, Chief Security & Risk Officer for Cloud Infrastructure, responsible for the security and resilience of the cloud infrastructure upon which Microsoft’s Intelligent Cloud business operates. Previously, Conway served as Cisco’s Chief Security Officer, Global Value Chain, was a partner in an international private legal practice and served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Hampshire. She holds an AB from Barnard College, a law degree from the University of Virginia and

additional credentials from MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and New York University. Conway is an advisor to capital investment organizations, has served on over a dozen boards, is an inductee into Fortune’s Most Powerful Women and recipient of Barnard College’s 2019 Distinguished Alumna Award. She also serves on the NYU Tandon School of Engineering Cyber Fellows Advisory Council, as faculty for the Carnegie Mellon University CISO Program and IANS Research, is a Sr. Non-resident Fellow at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a member of APPCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council. Linda Dolceamore Chief Leadership Development Officer Executive Women’s Forum (EWF), a DSG Global Company Linda joined the EWF in 2014 and serves as the Chief Leadership Development Officer. In this role, she is re- sponsible for designing, implementing and overseeing all initiatives that support the development and advance- ment of our members through The Leadership Academy. Linda is also the Coach/Facilitator of The Leader Within, our six month leadership development virtual program that focuses on developing self-awareness, personal capacity, and the resilience necessary to flourish in leadership roles.

Additionally she oversees the Lift mentoring program, serves as the Rising Leaders Forum Advisor for millennials/gen z and facilitates the Transition Excelerator onboarding program that accelerates new leaders performance. Linda strives to create the space and learning for members to drive positive change in their life, their career and for their company.

Ayana Parsons is an award-winning inclusive leadership expert, serial entrepreneur, and methodical investor. As a devoted wife,mother, and human potentialist, she empowers others to realize and reach their highest potential through intentional personal and professional excellence. With over two decades of experience as a venture capitalist, organizational consultant, corporate executive, and entrepreneur, Ayana’s mission is to close gaps in access to capital, leadership opportunities, and generational wealth.

Theresita Richard Chief People & Culture Officer Patagonia

Theresita Richard (she/her) is a visionary and purpose- driven leader fiercely committed to expansive liberation, humanity, and possibility. She is on a mission to transform the world of work, cultivating environments where humans can flourish in their fullness. She is the Chief People & Culture Officer for Patagonia and brings over 20 years of experience in diversity, equity & inclusion, organizational effectiveness, experience design, operations leadership, and human resources. Previously Theresita led Capital One’s Global Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, where she drove the work to advance diversity, equity,

inclusion and belonging across the company. She currently serves on the board of Out & Equal, a global convener, thought leader, and catalyst actively working to embed equity and achieve workplaces of equality and belonging. Theresita’s career has spanned the consumer goods, retail, and fintech industries and she has positively impacted the full range of organizations from building anew to broad-scale transformation. She is known for propelling organizations forward with a deep focus on talent, culture, and innovation. Theresita is adept at delivering holistic people strategies that ensure businesses are equipped and enabled to achieve their mission while unlocking thriving customer and employee experiences. She sees problems as opportunities and her goal is to always approach with curiosity, creating sustainable solutions for the future and challenging the status quo to solve needs in new and meaningful ways. Theresita started her career in operations after earning her B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Cornell University. It was there that she discovered her passion for creating experiences around people and went on to pursue her M.A. in Human Resource Development from George Washington University. Over the years, she has worked with various Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, Target, Home Depot and Starbucks. On a personal note, she loves great quotes, all things creative, impromptu dance breaks and real live books (there’s nothing like the smell of a new book). Her family is one of the best parts of her and they inspire her to be better every day. She is fueled by coffee and rich conversations (even better when those things come together) and is a lover of movement, color, texture, and depth…cue her deep passion for the arts and finding inspiration all around her. One of her favorite quotes that she strives to live by is “As you think about your own path to daring leadership, remember Joseph Campbell’s wisdom: ‘The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.’ Own the fear, find the cave, and write a new ending for yourself, for the people you’re meant to serve and support, and for your culture.
