Harrell’s MAX 18-3-6 with UMAXX® provides Urea and Nitrate Nitrogen plus Phosphorus, Potassium and Iron for consistent performance in a convenient formulation. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Harrell’s MAX® 18-3-6 with UMAXX® may be applied as an undiluted spray or mixed with water where spray equipment requires more volume. Avoid high spray volumes (generally over 25 gallons per acre) where possible to avoid run-off. Nitrogen rates of 0.1 - 0.8 pounds per 1,000 sq. ft. are suggested depending on the frequency of application, turf traffic, turf species and season. For general conditions apply 0.1 to 0.4 lbs. of N for frequent applications (1 to 2 weeks) or 0.5 to 0.8 lbs. of N for less frequent applications (3 to 4 weeks). Apply in sufficient water to ensure thorough coverage. Apply fertilizer in accordance with best management practices established by your State University or Cooperative Extension Service. Observe any State or Local fertilizer regulations pertaining to fertilizer content, application rates, or timing of application specific to your locale. RECOMMENDED RATES Turf: This product can be applied throughout the growing season on warm and cool season grasses. Application can be started in early spring and continued through late fall. Apply on greens, tees, and fairways at 2 – 7 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. (0.03 – 0.10 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft.) with a spray unit. This product is compatible with most technical turf products. When mixing with other products, check dilution rates. Apply every 7 – 21 days, or apply along with a summer disease program. Trees & Shrubs: For deep root feeding, mix 1 – 5 gal of 18-3-6 with UMAXX® per 100 gal of water. Inject 1 – 5 gal per inch of trunk diameter at chest height. Agriculture Crops: Apply 0.5-1.5 gallons per 100 gallons. Repeat every 2 – 4 weeks as necessary. Apply in sufficient water to ensure thorough coverage.
