The 26th Wessex Dinner was another one arguing the night away well past midnight, when Douglas Knowlden has do to admit he was still seeking more ‘young OAs’ under 50! There were present Michael Lamparelli, Chris Roseveare and Marcus Tebbuttford – all ‘young OAs’, so we have made a start. Chris Austen, whose son, Matt, was Head of School at Sherborne in the 1990s, now takes over from Douglas, so the future is assured, with Sherborne School’s catering team consistently serving great food and wine. The 2012 Wessex Dinner takes place on Friday 28 Spetember. Douglas Knowlden (46-52)
