try for many years to come. I am personally greatful for the wide in fluence the KING'S BUSINESS has had in the evangelical cause in America. A . W . T o z e r Editor, Alliance Witness Fifty years ago the KING'S BUSI NESS was founded with the firm purpose of bearing witness to the Word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ. Look at what has happened since that time. The nations of earth have been rocked by two world wars and harassed by many smaller ones; modes of travel have gone from the horse and buggy to the jet plane; man's philosophies h a v e swung radically from one position to another and back again; theology has undergone half a dozen re volutions; moral standards among civilized men have wavered and in some areas collapsed altogether; science has altered the face of the world; more recently the race of mankind has been pushed out into the space age and seems about ready to be pushed out into space itself; man has filched from nature the secret of the atom and for punishment now stands trembling on the bring of annihilation. Today's world is simply not the world into which the KING'S BUSINESS was launched fifty years ago. Yet in spite of the vast and as tounding transformations through out the entire world the KING'S BUSINESS has remained steadfast in her faith, soundly evangelical and true to her original purpose.
