Standing with a patient at the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children ( where recent capping services were held) are: SMM student Nancy Lathrop, Miss Souhirou; Dr. Ray A. Myers, Chairman of Biola’s Board; Mrs. Margaret Rose, hospital superintendent; and SMM student Angus Kirk. One of the most important ministries of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Inc., is the training program afforded missionaries, missionary candidates and appointees in the Biola School of Missionary Medicine. In a recent survey conducted by Miss Leonie V. Soubirou, the school’s director, it was discovered that this type of intensive training is more valuable today than ever before. Students not only train in the Biola classrooms, but also work in three South ern California hospitals. Free brochures and information available by request.
