Abed-nego with great humility, giving to them the loftiest of all titles, “Ye servants of the most high God.” The trust of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego had paid. Noth­ ing ever pays like trust in God, it is the sure road to deliverance, victory, peace and blessedness (1 Chron. 5:20; 2 Chron. 20:20; Ps. 22:4, 5; 34:22 ; 84:11, 12). What a wond­ rous testimony they became for their God (vs. 28, 29). The whole secret of it was that “they trusted in Him” (v. 28) and “yielded their bodies” to Him (cf.
