Now the Lord has laid it on my h ea rt to tell you of some others, dear needy young women, who are very keen to tak e th e full course in th e Bible School. I am sending you th e ir photos and as you look a t them and become acquainted w ith them in th is way I believe you will gladly join w ith us in prayer for them. No. 1. Miss Lo. A well educated young woman of a very nice family. She was led to th e Lord th rough an uncle who is an evangelist in a city two days’ journey from here. When she became a Christian she felt th e need of knowing the Bible and suggested to her family th a t she com e.to Changsha to study, but they all b itterly opposed it and said if she insisted on doing so they would not give her a cent. However, she was determ ined to come, and willing if need h e to suffer, for she had conse­ crated her life to th e Lord. One of her relatives kindly provided money fo r her expenses fo r the first term so she was able to enter the school, and God has provided fo r her since. Now she is looking to Him tru stfu lly for the future. She is a good student, a refined, gentle nature, and one whom we feel is Worth while.

ND my God shall supply every need of yours according to His •riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19.

A few months ago I wrote you about th e way God had so wonderfully an ­ swered prayer and provided for th e sup­ port of Mrs. Cheo in th e Women’s de­ partm en t of the Bible ,In stitu te here. You kipdly published th a t le tte r in the May number of th e “K ing’s Business” ■ and through th a t letter several kind Friends in America have w ritten inquir­ ing about th e cost of supporting needy students. One of them, an earnest child of God in Los Angeles, sent us a check for $50.00 which came as a definite answer to prayer for a devoted yopng woman in our preparatory department. H er husband was killed by the soldiers who destroyed a number of houses in the village during a tim e of civil war about th ree years ago. She herself in trying to make her escape was shot so th a t she lost h er rig h t eye and nearly lost her life. God graciously spared her life though and she has not only loving­ ly forgiven those who in ju red her, but has definitely given herself to the Lord fo r His service. Now th rough the kind­ ness of this friend she wiil be able to complete her course in the school and
