Animals member, Blue Cross to help them continue their recovery and find a new home. Wendy, a volunteer foster carer, stepped in to give them the care and safe space they needed to thrive. Due to the stress she’d endured, Honeydew started suffering with cystitis, for which she needed vet treatment. But with treatment and a secure environment, she quickly recovered. By their second week in foster care, the kittens were all exploring, playing and toilet trained, and Honeydew would sit up high, watching her brood, then jump down chirping and calling her kittens, checking and nursing them. She was an excellent Mum and came to be a very affectionate girl, loving cuddles, treats and strokes, which helped her. As we see an increase in the need for care and rehoming facilities, regular payroll giving donations are vital and help provide an animal with warm bedding, food and any veterinary treatment they need while waiting to find their new loving forever home.
