“ Isn’t there some way Christians, with limited budgets, can visit places of scenic interest?” This was the practical question put to Dr. James T. Martin, pastor of the Chevy Chase Baptist Church, Glendale, California. Considering the practical challenge, Dr. Martin soon discovered that not only was ordinary traveling expen sive, but also that established tours involved visiting places where drink ing and other questionable activities were common.
