This is a good question that requires an even better answer. It will be important to have a planned and authentic response to this question. Avoid criticizing your current or previous employer, or making inappropriate comments such as “I want a higher salary.” Instead, your answer should be more general. If you know someone who already works there, find the time to ask that person what the company is looking for in the ideal employee. What challenges are you looking for in your next job? With this, an employer wants to find out how you will use your skills and experience when you are confronted with a challenge.
