PALLET MOVER SYSTEM The pallet mover system consists of a an automatic shuttle able to move within the drive-in channels o ering a high density automated storage. Controlled by an interactive radio transmitter, the pallet mover is able to load, unload and arrange pallets into the drive-in channels. Moved by a fork lift, pallet mover operates in every channel according to the FIFO (First in First out) and LIFO (Last in First out) procedures. A forklift picks up the pallet mover unit, and places it into the center channel of the chosen rack. Thereafter, the forklift places incoming pallet loads on the pallet mover. While the forklift picks up the next pallet to be stored, the pallet mover transports the pallet quickly to its designated storage location within the rack. A wireless remote controls the movement of the pallet mover. The best use for pallet mover is in Cold Storage of food industry where temperatures can reach down to -30°. In such an environment, storage systems have to maximise the number of pallets, feature few aisles so to optimize the ratio bene t/costs.
