Kalamazoo Resort is currently undergoing a multi- million-dollar upgrade and expansion project. This project consists of upgrading the existing 170 campsites to 50 amp, adding an additional 72 full hook-up, 50 amp campsites, adding new park models, updating picnic tables and fire rings, installing a playground, and more. During the upgrade, you’ll still have access to everything the Kalamazoo Resort in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has offered since 2016. A stay at this resort gives you three water options. Stroll around the pond or access Barbour Lake where you can rent paddle boats, wade, or swim. There are two docks to make it easier to launch your own flotation device or to cast your bait and hopefully catch the big one. Lounge on the sandy shore or organize a beach volleyball game. Great Lakes and the only one located entirely within the United States. The soft, white sand is known as singing sands because of the squeaking noise it makes when walked on. Once at your tree-covered spacious site you’ll feel secure with the 24-hour security. Set up at your site and either put up your lawn chairs or go exploring. You could start your exploration at the All Seasons Lodge. Gather with friends and family around the flat-screen TV, sit in front of a roaring fire, or enjoy a pickup basketball game. Play volleyball or horseshoes And there’s more. The activities department will keep you busy with a variety of interesting activities, including live entertainment. Pick up firewood and eat s’mores to your heart’s content at your RV site. There’s also putt- putt golf, a playground, and an outdoor pool. If you need to add to your pantry, shop at the general store.
