The campground features 13 authentic railroad boxcars, club cars, and cabooses. In addition to their use as offices and shops, four train cars offer comfy accommodations for overnight stays. Cottages can be rented and RVers are treated to spacious RV sites with full hook-ups and Wi-Fi. The “landing” part of the resort’s name refers to the fact that the campground is situated on Lake Oconee, a reservoir with 374 miles of shoreline. Visitors to the resort can take advantage of the private white sand beach, boat slips and boat launch, and fishing—so don’t forget to bring your fishing gear, swimsuits, and water toys.
