Hello, Pearland! Winter and spring programs and sports are about to start back up here in Pearland. We stay very busy making sure that in each season our great, full-service, professional Parks and Recreation Department staff are providing top-quality programming, amenities, and events that you want as Pearland residents and visitors.

The upcoming season is no exception with opportunities for everyone to get involved -- There are holiday camps, karate classes, swimming lessons, dance and aerobic classes for kids and adults, adaptive recreation, senior programs, and community-wide events like Spring Fest (March 4th) and Ruff Runner (March 25th). I encourage you to look at becoming a member of the Recreation Center and Natatorium. That facility offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment, racquetball courts, a walking track, basketball courts, and an Olympic-size indoor pool. All these features are included in a membership price as low as $19.25 per month. Talk with a Rec Attendant to find a plan that works for you. Pearland Parks and Recreation team continues to bring features to the Pearland community that make us “The Community of Choice.” Like the recently opened miracle field and currently under construction all-inclusive park both located at the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch. There is so much to explore and experience in our community, I hope to see you out and around town enjoying these great features.
