LITTLE VETERINARIAN SCHOOL Students will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian with dogs, including how to properly perform a nose-to-tail exam. These future veterinarians will learn how to sew stitches, remove ticks, make healthy treats and vaccinate their dog. No live animals will be used in the course of this class. YOUNG CHEFS This class is a fun way to get your child interested in healthy eating habits. Children will have hands-on experiences with making fun, surprisingly good for you snacks. We will discuss healthy eating and smart food choices. Children will find this a fun learning experience that they can do on their own. We look forward to feeding your child’s mind and body. Please notify the instructor at the first class meeting of any known food allergy your child may have. A minimum of six participants must register seven days prior to the class start date. Thur., January 12–February 23 / 4:30–5:30 p.m. Thur., March 23-April 27 / 4:30–5:30 p.m. $40 resident / $50 non-resident 6-11 years WPCC LITTLE DOCTOR SCHOOL Through role-play and activities, students will learn the key responsibilities of a doctor and explore the heart, lungs, and digestion. Students will use real medical instruments (stethoscope, reflex hammer and blood pressure cuff) and practice scrubbing, suturing and tying knots like a real surgeon.
