Elan Dance Intensive • AGES 8-18 This intensive is open to dancers currently on the Elan Dance Company, dancers interested in auditioning, or any dancers that would like a challenge. Dancers will work on technique in multiple styles of dance and team bonding activates. This camp runs from 4:30-8:30 pm Monday- Thursday. On Friday, the last day of camp, all of our Naperville Dance Academy camps will join together in a showcase for their families. The last day of camp will be held from 3:30-6:30pm at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center and the showcase will be held from 5:30-6:30pm. It focuses on age-appropriate dance steps and music. Kids love combining street dance with funk and jazz, similar to what they see in televised dance performances or music videos. This class is dedicated to improving extension, turns, and leaps, working both the right and left sides equally. Younger students will focus on basic drills, while exercises will gradually increase in difficulty as students become more advanced.
