Patient Success Spotlight

“I am no longer afraid of a flight of stairs!” “Before I came to FYZICAL for PT I had knee pain daily. Walking for extended periods of time was hard, and running or jumping was out of the question. After physical therapy, I can now run and play with my two kids with ease and have even been able to take them hiking. I am no longer afraid of a flight of stairs and I don’t feel like I have to keep pain relievers on me at all times. I am looking forward to a future filled with activities with my family and an absence of pain. I give FYZICAL Joe Battle location 5 stars out of 5.” - Jeannie S.

NEW FYZICAL ATHLETICS DIRECTOR: ARMANDO

At FYZICAL, we believe great strength and conditioning coaches are the foundation of a great performance. The success of our athletes begins with giving our coaches the professional development, empowerment and resources they need to be highly effective. Read on to learn about Armando — his background, what he enjoys most about being a coach, and how he inspires athletes. Tell us a little about yourself and your background. As a strength and conditioning coach, what attracted you to coach young athletes and students? Every athlete is born with a unique talent and has the potential to achieve success. I wanted to harness that talent and unlock every athlete’s potential to become the best they could be. Having worked at two different universities and trained hundreds of athletes from different sports, I wanted the opportunity to provide that same level of training to younger athletes. Quote: “Failure is a key to success. Failure is not the opposite of success, but a steppingstone to success.” What do you find most rewarding about being a strength and conditioning coach? Watching athletes grow every day, helping them reach their goals, and having a positive impact on their life, on and off the field/court, is its own reward. Who (or what) inspired you to become a teacher/coach? My father who was a basketball coach inspired me to become a coach. It was instilled into me at an early age, that to be a successful coach, you must be passionate about listening, caring and working with athletes.
