“To Whom It May Concern, David was very professional and represented your concern well. My aunt was the customer and she was worried about a “strange” workman being in her home without someone else there, so hence...my presence. She was very pleased to learn that your group is led by a woman. I admit, perhaps for a different reason, to gaining certain joy from this discovery myself. David operated with the utmost professionalism. He was courteous and deferential to the homeowner (even though she was perhaps annoyed by the delay in his arrival, to state it mildly). He handled the fact that there were essentially 2 customers, myself (as “proxy”) and my aunt (the actual paying homeowner/customer), with extraordinary deftness, read: unfazed by any detectable “attitude” that may have presented.
He simply moved forward with the next step to complete the job, and he did so while simultaneously explaining in layperson- terms exactly the options and strategies available and their associated costs. He didn’t avoid talking about himself, which can often be interpreted by a customer as rude, rather he made overtures in this regard, but these weren’t emotionally burdening or as the youth of today say “awkward”, he was just honest. Your company’s communications folks, very professional too. Those in the know perhaps understand how challenging scheduling can be in this field, and dispatch was friendly and informative and the follow through was effective.
