Cozad is well known for our art heritage with numerous art collections on display. Homestead Bank is home to the CSB Co. collection of paintings and sculptures done by western artists. Cozad High School is home to paintings from different artists, where each

loved ones. Each set of wings is unique, and photos are encouraged in front of them. Mul- tiple bronze sculptures surround the outside of The Wilson Public Library as part of a beautiful greenscape. Windswept Reflec- tions, a contemporary windmill sculpture, is located on the west side of the library. In April 2023, a commemorative Cozad 150th celebration mural and barn quilt will be unveiled in downtown Cozad. For more information regarding Cozad’s Outdoor

Museum & Art Gallery is located at 218 E. 8th. Robert Henri started life as a boy in the prairie town of Cozad founded by his father, John J. Cozad. The museum is also the famed American artist’s boyhood home and is full of historical information on the life and times of Robert

Cozad’s Outdoor Art projects also celebrate our art heritage while making art accessible at all times of the day. Hunt for unique barn quilts on the Barn Quilts of Dawson County Trail throughout Cozad and Dawson County. The 50 States Barn Quilt display at 114 West 7th is a one-of-a-kind art installation with all 50 states represented. The unique “Cozad Creates” painter’s palette icons were painted by various artists and are on display outside throughout Co- zad.
