The Cozad Tourism committee invites you to explore Cozad to enjoy art, history,hopping, dining ando much more!

Cozad’s 150th Birthday Celebration begins January 1, 2023, with many activities planned throughout the year. These activities center around four themes integral to the history of Cozad. 1. The Union Pacific Railroad: How John J. Cozad originally arrived on the 100th Meridian. 2. The Arts: Boyhood home of artist Robert Henri (Robert Henry Cozad), as well as Cozad’s community commitment to all types of art. 3. Agriculture: Cozad historically known as the Alfalfa Capital of the World. 4. The 100th Meridian: Longitudinal line running through Cozad, where the humid east meets the arid west.

• Tour the Robert Henri Museum & Art Gallery. • Discover Cozad’s fascinating history next door at the 100th Meridian Museum. • Shop our varied specialty and retail shops. • Enjoy diverse cuisines at our restaurants. • Celebrate the night life at one of our pubs or three screen movie theater. • Visit Cozad’s many Outdoor Art projects, ac- cessible at all times of the day. ○ Hunt for unique barn quilts on the Barn Quilts of Dawson County Trail. ○ The 50 States Barn Quilt display beautifully represents all 50 states. ○ “Cozad Creates” painter’s palette icons on display throughout Cozad. ○ Rhakenna’s Wings, painted on different
