WPM’s newest management projects include: 101 Ellwood (recently converted Patterson Park High School turned 140 modern apartments); Para- gon at Columbia Overlook (a planned 320-unit rental com- munity located at the inter- section of I-95 and Route 175 at the southwestern gateway to Columbia); and 520 Park (a $30 million redevelopment that is transforming the former Hoschild Kohn Department Residents of Citron Apts. raise funds for typhoon survivors SILVER SPRING, MD — Foulger-Pratt Companies ’ CitronApartments community, located in downtown Silver Spring, MD, has raised nearly $3,000 in the past week to help the survivors of Typhoon Hai- yan in the Philippines. “Because of the urgent need for aid in the Philippines, we decided to launch a one-week campaign to raise as much money as possible for the Red Cross,” says Foulger-Pratt property manager Cristal Phipps . “We quickly created an online donation site, posted links on our social media pages, and began contacting our resi- dents to spread the word.”  In addition to Citron resi- dents, some Foulger-Pratt co-workers and vendors made donations and the company promised to match all money raised by the Citron residents. The campaign culminated last Thursday at a Thanksgiving party for Citron residents. “Words cannot express how much we appreciate our resi- dents for helping us to build a strong community and using that strength to provide aid for those in need,” says Phipps. Citron is the final residential piece to be completed in the highly successful Downtown Silver Spring Revitalization initiative. n
