In all, our campuses were awarded 12 top-10 rankings by “U.S. News and World Report” in 2024-2025. embryriddle.edu

THE OPPORTUNITY Exclusive Campus Presence: Showcase the United brand on Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s fleet of Starship food delivery robots (currently 11 robots, but we anticipate growth in this number) on our Daytona Beach campus for one academic year — late August through early May. High-Visibility Impact: The robots are a constantly moving, high-visibility exposure opportunity on a campus full of students, faculty/staff, prospective students, parents and families, industry/ community visitors and others — this demographic comprises frequent travelers and prospective United employees. Strong Florida Connection: United has a significant presence in Florida — operating over 1,000 flights daily, including operations at nearby Orlando airport. As the sole sponsor, this could be a brand differentiator — keeping your name in front of a captive audience. THE PROPOSAL $100,000 One-Year Sponsorship: Your investment will directly support the Starship program, including reducing delivery fees for students, expanding the robot fleet, covering partner costs (Sodexo, Starship and Grubhub), funding brand wraps and maintenance and providing student scholarships. Custom Branding Opportunity: The illustrations show just one example of what the robots could look like — we will partner with United to develop a custom design that reflects your brand identity and aligns with current marketing and recruitment initiatives.

Visitor Exposure: The exposure doesn’t just stop there, based on just those that we can readily measure, the university will host approximately 100,000 visitors to campus this year; many of these visitors are from out of town, have a connection to aviation and aerospace, and are frequent travelers. Integrated Brand Messaging: The university will push additional brand awareness through its internal channels such as email , the website and table tents. As part of the sponsorship, delivery fees will be reduced from $3.50 to $2.50, and our messaging will strengthen the partnership — for example, “Supported by United Airlines.” Media Leadership & First-Mover Advantage: Embry-Riddle was the first university in Florida to offer this service — attracting significant media exposure at the local, regional and national levels (see attached for a representative sample of this exposure — nearly all of these contain images of the delivery robots). We also plan to actively promote this partnership.

THE BENEFITS

From social buzz to campus selfies, we’ve monitored engagement with the robots everywhere your audience connects.

High Delivery Volume: Almost 10,000 deliveries last year; with the growth in our student population, expanded delivery offerings and a subsidized fee structure, that number could easily reach more than 15,000 this academic year. Daily Student Reach: United’s brand will be visible to our students every day. The Daytona Beach Campus enrolls nearly 9,000 students in disciplines of critical importance to United — professional pilot training, aerospace and mechanical engineering, aviation business, and more — placing the United brand directly in front of this highly relevant audience.

Campus Photo Magnet: Along with the iconic Wright Flyer, the robots are one of the most photographed items on campus — prospective students, their families and other visitors are attracted to them, leading to significant exposure on social media. Global Visibility: Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus boasts a truly national and global student body, with representation from all 50 states and 107 countries. Campus Employee Presence: The Daytona Beach campus is also home to almost 2,000 employees.
