Cracker Barrel Account A Strong, Long-standing Partnership A BARREL FULL OF TRUST
Any relationship that lasts 25-plus years has to be built on trust and respect. And that’s exactly what we have with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.
Averitt. “My experience at Averitt allows me to connect with our driving force and leadership team on a personal level, fostering trust and open communication. It also enables me to provide practical guidance and support, helping them navigate their roles effectively.” IMMEASURABLE BENEFITS According to Scott Gardner of Cracker Barrel’s distribution and logistics leadership, the solutions we provide are crucial for his team’s success. “Averitt is kind of the glue that holds our supply chain together,” Scott says. “Without Averitt, we couldn't get done what we need to get done every day. The benefits are almost immeasurable for us, from the relationship that drivers have at the stores with our store managers to Averitt's engineering and technology team. It just drives innovation and continuous improvement throughout our supply chain.” Jim Burnett, Cracker Barrel’s Director of Logistics, adds that communication is another key. “I think the success of that relationship is not only because of Averitt’s operational expertise, but for me, I think it boils down to mutual trust across our organizations,” he says. “We’re going to come together and collaboratively solve problems as they arise within the Cracker Barrel supply chain. We trust that Averitt is going to have our interests in mind as we design these solutions.” Because of that, we can help each other succeed. “The Averitt/Cracker Barrel relationship works not only because of that trust between the organizations, but also because of Averitt's care,” Jim says. “We know and are extremely confident that Averitt cares about doing the right thing for Cracker Barrel. It cares about servicing our business in a way that makes sense and provides mutual value.” We’re proud of the atmosphere we’ve developed with Cracker Barrel through the years, and we look forward to building our partnership even more in the future! In addition to store deliveries with our Dedicated fleet, we handle switching and shuttle
