GREA Mid-Atlantic (formerly Rittenhouse Realty Advisors) Campus Heights Loan Hamilton Court, Philadelphia, PA The LARGEST STUDENT HOUSING PROJECT of 2022

GREA sold a 295 Bed, 103 Unit, (9) Comm Units 21,400 RSF state of the art student housing property near University of Pennsylvania. Built in 1901 and renovated in 2016-18, Hamilton Court consists of 103 residential units with 295 beds, and serves the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and Drexel University (Drexel) communities. Hamilton Court is located on the main campus of UPenn at the intersection of 39th and Chestnut Streets in the University City submarket of Philadelphia. This core location has allowed Hamilton Court to become one of the most well-located, highly-desired places by undergraduate and graduate students not only at UPenn but Drexel with its campus just five blocks from Hamilton Court and home to another 25,000± students. This offering presents an extremely rare opportunity for a buyer to purchase a core student housing property located within short walking distance to one of the most prestigious universities in the country with high-end finishes and a highly-desired amenity package including a state-of-the-art gym, rooftop swimming pool and lounge area as well as student-oriented retail.

Type of project: Environmental Graphics & Wayfinding Completed in December, 2022, DIGroup’s Design Studio Team utilized branded colors to create environmental graphics and wayfinding signage that promotes the mission and values of the K-12 charter school. Since each academy floor serves 3-4 grade levels, themes were chosen to align with age- and grade-appropriate representation within each academy. The goal was to capture and illustrate imagination, vision, aspiration and education in creative and energetic ways to inspire student as they walk the halls of the four academies. Prior to commissioning DIGroup, the walls of all four schools that comprise Foundation Academies were devoid of any sense of identity and place. DIG designed graphics that function as “landmarks” throughout the schools, helping to guide, educate and inspire students, staff and visitors.
