As the Executive Director, Psychotherapist, Trauma Specialist, and Hypnotherapist at Anesis Thera- py, Myra McNair's approach transcends traditional therapeutic paradigms. A nesis Therapy extends its reach with Comprehensive Community Services (CCS), a voluntary program designed to offer psychosocial rehabilitation services to individuals of all ages grappling with mental health or substance use disorders. Operating under Chapter DHS 36 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, CCS caters to clients requiring ongoing, high or low-intensity services, bridg- ing the gap for those not in need of the Community Support Program (CSP) services. The aim of CCS is to empower clients towards achieving optimal levels of independent functioning, stability, and independence, facilitating their journey towards recovery and enhanced well-being within the community. By tailoring services to meet the unique needs and goals of clients, CCS aims to foster independence, stability, and overall life satisfaction. Through a community-based approach, we strive to empower individuals to navigate their mental health challenges with resilience, support, and a sense of agency over their recovery journey. In times of crisis, we offer Crisis Stabilization Services aimed at preventing or alleviating acute symp- toms of mental illness, thereby avoiding the need for hospitalization. These short-term, intensive, community-based interventions are designed to provide timely support, intervention, and stabiliza- tion to individuals facing mental health crises. Through a range of services such as counseling, med- ication management, crisis intervention, peer support, residential services, vocational assistance, and case management, we ensure that individuals receive personalized care tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.

The ini- tiative seeks to bridge gaps in mental health services by offering free counseling, substance abuse support, and crisis stabilization assistance to individuals in need. With a dedicated team comprising mental health counselors, substance abuse counselors, and crisis stabilization case managers, the drop-in clinics serve as vital resources for individuals seeking support and guid- ance in Dane County. In response to the increased demand for mental health services during the COVID-19 pan- demic, We forged partnerships with local churches in Madison and Dane County Human Services to establish free drop-in services for the community. These collaborative efforts have resulted in the creation of two drop-in clinics located at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Anesis Therapy Center in Madison, providing accessible and no-cost mental health support to indi- viduals residing in Dane County. The Mt. Zion Baptist Church Drop-in Clinics stand as a testament to the power of community collaboration in addressing mental health needs and fostering well-being among individuals facing challenges. By offering a range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community, including counseling, substance abuse support, and crisis intervention, the clinics serve as safe havens where individuals can seek guidance, support, and empowerment on their journey towards mental wellness.
