Russell Historical Society hosts Patti Mitton for a Remembrance Day gathering Nov. 14, 7 p.m., at the Keith Boyd Museum. Her talk will be on recently released letters from the Canadian home front sent to the Canadian Expeditionary Forces Headquarters in England during World War One. All welcome. St. Mary’s Christmas Home Tour and Quilt Display is Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost $25, includes lunch.
