Ardmac has been a key delivery partner for our client at their Leixlip site in Co. Kildare for over 25 years, contributing to the continuous enhancement of site operations through strategic implementation and process optimisation. Our scope of work has encompassed high-specification architectural fit-outs, precision cleanroom construction, and complex tool installation projects. During the initial phases of the campus-wide tool installation programme, Ardmac played an integral role in the adoption and deployment of the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methodology. Over a structured 10-week engagement, meeting three days per week, we collaborated in a cross-functional, site-wide forum to facilitate the structured implementation of the IPD framework. This initiative, fully deployed by late 2015, represented a paradigm shift in project execution, fostering a fully integrated, lean, and collaborative working environment. By aligning key stakeholders and eliminating inefficiencies, the IPD process ensured that project workflows were optimised, resources were allocated with precision, and deliverables were executed in accordance with stringent scheduling and quality benchmarks.
The implementation of IPD marked a significant transformation in project delivery methodologies, replacing traditional siloed approaches with a unified, partnership-driven model. This collaborative ecosystem enabled all project participants to operate as a cohesive unit, driving performance improvements and ensuring alignment with the client’s overarching objectives. Through this initiative, we contributed to the development of a standardised framework for project execution—the ‘IPD Charter’—which established clearly defined metrics for success under the guiding principle of “One Team, One Goal.” As an industry leader in high-performance construction solutions, Ardmac continuously integrates the insights and efficiencies gained from this initiative across all projects.
