How to Crush the Remainder of 2024 for Your Business! What Got You Here Won’t Get You There
Growing a business like a Med Spa, Cosmetic Surgery Center, or Vein Practice is about as dynamic as it gets! As the business owner, you have so much to do and so much to take care of. I recently read an article that reminded me of something essential that had slipped my mind amidst the busyness of growing a business, nurturing a family, and managing the everyday challenges life throws our way.

It’s worth repeating .

I reread this recently while on vacation with my wife and kids back in Ireland, where I’m from. (Yes, even when I relax, I think about growth and improvement!) I also spent a few hours reviewing the first half of 2024 and adjusting business and marketing plans for the second half. (“Interesting stuff to do on vacation, Bref!”) Taking trips with my family is one of the primary reasons I work hard. This vacation gave me time to consider what I needed to do to hit our goals at ClinicGrower and CRUSH them. Getting up early was easy for me — it always is when you’re clear on your mission and goals.
These answers will tell you how much you’ll need to grow your business in order to achieve your goals. Break down those goals into how many new clients, patients, or memberships you need. Look at what you’re already doing and how you can get more out of what you have.
But don’t stop there! That’s where many fail, and it’s a massive mistake.
But if you don’t understand this clearly, it can cause your business to stall.
Create a plan. Let’s say your goal is to hit $2 million, and you’ve done $800,000 for the first half of the year. You’re $200,000 from your goal, and you’ve got the remaining six months of this year. That equates to 100 patients, which will generate $2,000 each. If you have three primary sources of new patient/client acquisition, such as referrals, Google, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), optimizing these sources to get an extra 30 patients from each means only an extra six patients per month. The extra 30 patients from three channels at $2,000 would deliver an extra $180,000, getting you 90% of the way to your goal.
We’re into the last quarter of the year, so doing a 2024 Review and 2025 Preview is vital. Look at your accomplishments. Celebrate the wins with your team. This year, we started distributing Growth Shares to our team. In December, I set a goal for where I wanted my business to be, which was quantified in revenue. Assess your progress. • What goals did you set? • What worked and what didn’t? • How can you increase what worked and decrease what didn’t? • Identify the areas of improvement.

You would be hard-pressed to find a plastic surgeon with a bigger smile than Dr. Luis Rios. Get more new patients. • Identify what’s working best and scale that. • Cut the fat of what’s not delivering. • Identify and implement new channels to fill any gaps in the plan. When it comes to growth, think about becoming just 10% better: • In lead generation (referrals, marketing) • Lead nurture (email, text, speed to lead) • Sales conversation (scripting, training) • Sales conversion (overcoming objections and providing solutions). (Don’t leave this to chance or wait — book it when you are with the patient!)
