• Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration • Growing partnerships with industry, government and alumni Adheso-Graphics Chad Atkinson has been named Business Development Manager for North America Operations for Adheso-Graph- ics, De Pere, Wisconsin. Prior to joining Adheso, Atkinson started his career as a Platemaker before being promoted to Project Manager. He spent most of his career managing the liquid plate and corrugated mounting production as a Production Manager for a pre-press provider in the flexographic industry. Most recently he was hired as a Plant Manager where he became further proficient in productivity goals, quality, and compliance standards. Atkinson also recently served as an Account Manager for Adheso-Graphics’s parent company, Anderson & Vree- land, Inc. Atkinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Ad- ministration & Management from Coker College in Harts- ville, South Carolina, and is a decorated veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard. Coming to Clemson from Auburn University, Jegana- than brings more than 25 years of academic and lead- ership experience to the role, including positions as the Bruno Endowed professor of nutrition, graduate program director, interim co-associate dean for research and grad- uate studies and Southeastern Conference provost fellow. Jeganathan’s leadership philosophy centers on collab- oration, transparency and shared governance. His initial fo- cus will be listening and learning from faculty, staff, students and administrators to build strong, trusting relationships and understand the department’s culture and aspirations. Among Jeganathan’s priorities are: • Supporting faculty development and mentorship • Strengthening the department’s research enterprise • Enhancing student success • Expanding graduate programs
