Congratulations to the winner of the Dancers Choice Award. In its 12th year, this award honors individuals and organizations that are creatively impacting dance.
Sangam Arts
Founded in 2013, Sangam Arts provides an innova- tive platform for artists from diverse backgrounds to come together to collaborate and co-create world-class music and dance performances. Using a wide range of cultural and artistic expressions from Folklorico and Tap to Kathak and Hula, Sangam’s presentations are curated to help us recognize our common humanity while celebrating our vibrant diversity. Led by Usha Srinivasan and Priya Das, Mosaic Silicon Valley is Sangam’s flagship initiative focused on strengthening diverse communities through multicultural collaborative arts. Since 2016, Sangam Arts has brought together over 200 art- ists from 25 unique artistic traditions and reached an audience of over 5000. sangamarts.org
