The financials are complete for the first five months of 2024 (January-May). Sales for combined LLC and HCS are $169 million, which is up $13 million over prior years, which is $5.1 million ahead of budget. Our EBITDA is $9.7 million, which is up $3.2 million over last year and $3.9 million up on budget. 2024 is off to an incredible start thanks to El Niño in the early months of the year, the nursery market rebounding, a strong golf market, and growth in the lawn care sector. We are looking forward to a strong 2nd half of the year to build on the great start that we’ve had. Now for my favorite part, the 2023 stock price. If you remember, we started in 2016 at $.72 a share. From there we went up to $1.94 in 2017 and then to $2.23 in 2018. In 2019 we were at $2.25 a share. In 2020, during a global pandemic, our share price increased to $6.50 a share. We followed up that year with a share price of $12.47 in 2021. In 2022 we had a correction year and the stock price dropped down to $10.97. I’m excited to announce our 2023 share price has grown to $13.22!!! We distributed another 200,000 shares to employee-owners so your new shares and the shares you already own will be valued at $13.22 a share. Congratulations to you all, you’ve earned it! I feel extremely good at where we are at in 2024 and I have no doubt that the best team in the industry will finish the second half of 2024 strong and we will have yet again the best year ever in the history of YOUR company. I can’t thank you enough for all you do. YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Your hard work in the past year paid off, and our stock price has increased again: 2016: $.72
