What is Team Around the Child? The founder of this Method Peter Limbrick says that TAC (A Team Around the Child) is an independent, collaborative and developing team of the small number of people who are the most involved with the child and family agreeing to meet regularly for practical support reason. Team EDUCO would like to share their model of this method which we had to adapt to the conditions in the CZE. Then we would like to share our experience with inclusion and how we use the TAC as support of inclusion in education and inclusion of children with special needs in education system. The aim of this method is the support of independence of a family in the interdisciplinary cooperation field and family relationships. p1.18 Transdisciplinary Approach to Empowering Parents of Children With Developmental Disabilities in Strengthening Good Parenting Competencies in CRZ Zagreb Presenting Author: Vanda kos Jerković (Croatia) Affiliation: Center for Rehabilitation Zagreb Co-Author: Dajana Bulić, Teodora Not Supporting parents of children with developmental difficulties requires an approach that integrates the knowledge and skills of professionals from various fields. Transdisciplinarity involves collaboration among experts in psychology, education, social work, medicine, and other areas, with parents as equal partners. The focus is on holistically addressing the needs of the child and family while developing innovative and tailored support strategies. This approach emphasizes mutual learning and shared responsibility among participants, ensuring consistent and unified support. At the same time, transdisciplinarity fosters parents' emotional resilience, reduces stress, and strengthens their role as key actors in their child's development. By building sustainable community support networks and creating synergy among professionals, parents gain the tools and confidence needed to face challenges, enabling their child to thrive and achieve their developmental potential. p1.19 Voice of Children’s Families in Early Childhood Intervention: Listen, Evaluate, and Reflect to Improve the ECI System Presenting Author: Viviana Ferreira (Portugal) Affiliation: ANIP Co-Authors: Celina Carvalho, Leonor Carvalho, Jorge Mendes This poster aims to disseminate the preliminary results of a Portuguese pilot- project, created by ANIP and funded by the Portuguese National Institute for Rehabilitation (INR). The technical team will be available for clarification of information related to the above-mentioned themes, being duly formed and qualified for this purpose. In line with ANIP's mission, this project aims to ensure information to families, professionals and the community at large about ECI and recommended practices, so that it can clarify their doubts and above all to be properly forwarded and informed as well as to appropriate their rights and be duly referred to the services. With the preliminary results we intend to show how families with the right information can be more powerful and autonomous in the search for the answers to your needs.

p1.20 WeCare: Empowering Parents and Enhancing Family Quality of Life in India: A Qualitative Study Presenting Author: Anoo Bhopti (Australia) Affiliation: Monash University Co-Authors: Sally Mohitian, Shabnam Rangwala, Gulab Sayed

Parents of children with developmental disabilities face significant challenges, especially following a diagnosis, which can impact their well-being and occupational participation. WeCare™ is a strengths-based, capacity-building parent intervention developed in Australia and adapted for India based on research highlighting the need for support at the time of diagnosis, particularly in disadvantaged areas of Maharashtra, to empower parents with skills and knowledge to build confidence, support their well-being, and improve family quality of life (FQOL). This qualitative study used a pre-post design. Thirty parents of children with recent or suspected autism diagnoses participated in three two-hour hybrid workshops led by professionals and parent-peer facilitators. Post-workshop, semi-structured interviews will collect feedback. Thematic analysis, to be completed by April 2025, will inform recommendations. Findings will refine WeCare™ to better address the needs of parents in low-resource Indian settings for wider implementation.
