Symposia Advancing Comprehensive Early Childhood Intervention S2.05 Supporting Recommended Practices for Young Children With Disabilities in Spain With an This presentation will highlight the efforts of Spain and US professionals to support the implementation of authentic assessment, inclusive practices, and family-centered practices in Spain through the adaptation of an assessment and curriculum. The research team will present three papers on how they adapted the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System 3rd Edition (AEPS-3) for use in Spain. In paper 1, presenters will describe a content validity study in which the AEPS-3 was translated and then reviewed by 16 experts in Spain who validated the clarity, usefulness, and appropriateness of items on the AEPS-3 test. In paper 2, presenters will discuss results of a technical adequacy study of the AEPS-3 test in Spain. Finally, in paper 3, presenters will share the results of a pilot study conducted in 16 classrooms on the validity of the AEPS-3 curriculum model.
