About the Region As defined by the State of Michigan, the Greater Grand Rapids region is

comprised of thirteen counties in western Michigan, seven of which RPI has formal partnership agreements with, in addition to our work in Kent County. The Economic Development Directors of the seven partner counties are team members of RPI, leading to a cohesive and comprehensive regional effort. In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding guides the collaborative partnership with neighboring organizations: Lakeshore Advantage and Greater Muskegon County Economic Development .

THE RIGHT PLACE LEADERSHIP CIRCLE The Right Place (RPI) Leadership Circle provides a venue for businesses and community leaders to gain a deeper understanding of current economic development projects and local business trends in Greater Grand Rapids by engaging in meaningful discussions about the future of our region, building relationships with RPI staff, and participating in opportunities to connect with key stakeholders. In addition to RPI investor benefits, Leadership Circle members will play a more active role in driving economic growth and prosperity for all through quarterly meetings with RPI staff which will include:

• Information about business development and community development project pipelines. • Updates on key strategic initiatives and strategic plan progress. • Resources related to common talent opportunities. • Guest speaker presentations to share business insights.

Additional opportunities for members may include:

• Site visits to key client facilities. • Invitation to join RPI team members on meetings with prospective clients. • Invitation to join RPI team members on trade missions / trade shows.

*A minimum annual investment of $12,500 is required to be considered for membership.

INDUSTRY COUNCILS

Manufacturers Council Convened in 1989, The Right Place | MMTC-West Manufacturers Council is dedicated to the business success of the region’s manufacturing industry. The council’s vision is to establish the West Michigan region as an international center for manufacturing productivity. Members work together in a collaborative environment to promote, facilitate, enable, and advocate for advancing a “best-in- class” manufacturing sector. Technology Council of West Michigan The Technology Council of West Michigan exists to grow technology- oriented businesses in the Greater Grand Rapids region. We strive to make West Michigan a national leader in digital technologies. Tech Council members share information and experiences of interest and benefit to its members to help fuel the success of member companies. In addition, the Tech Council supports West Michigan businesses who are providing, applying, or starting to adopt digital technology. Supply Chain Management Council Membership in the Supply Chain Management Council provides an opportunity to create new collaborations with other supply chain professionals. As part of a trusted group of leaders, members are the voice of the supply chain in West Michigan, and they work to solve common challenges by providing actionable insights on new developments. MiDevice MiDevice , run by The Right Place, is the only Michigan-based organization dedicated to medical device design, development, manufacturing and distribution. MiDevice gives medical device companies the opportunity to collaborate, cooperate and promote their expertise in the industry. The companies of MiDevice provide high-tech solutions for every stage of the medical device product lifecycle. Our unique collection of core competencies provides a one stop resource for all of your product needs, from ideation through distribution. Real Estate Development Council The Right Place is launching a new Real Estate Development Council to strengthen collaboration, accelerate financeable projects, and support smart growth across the Greater Grand Rapids region. This Council will bring together leaders from across the real estate and development ecosystem to help shape the future of development in our region. As a new council, participating members will help define priorities, shape focus areas, and guide how this group creates long- term impact.

Multi-year pledges are suggested to ensure our team can focus on the goals set out in our 3-year strategic plan.
