MOROCCAN EXPLORATION
DAY 1: DEPART FOR CASABLANCA, MOROCCO Enjoy a private car ride to the airport. Meet your Journey Manager, fellow travellers and board your flights to Morocco. Overnight flight DAY 2: CASABLANCA On arrival in Casablanca, we are met by our local guide and taken on a scenic morning drive before visiting the Hassan II Mosque. After lunch, we take the picturesque route to Rabat. This evening, join us for a welcome dinner at our hotel. (L,D) Tour Hassan, Today we explore the Moroccan capital, Rabat and witness the splendid Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon of free time before joining us for dinner at a local restaurant. (B,L,D) DAY 4: COASTAL M’DIQ We make our way along Morocco’s Atlantic coast through the picturesque towns of Moulay Boussel- ham and Larache before reaching the idyllic beach- side town of M’Diq. (B,L,D) Sofitel Tamuda Bay, M’Diq (1 night) DAY 5: CHARMING CHEFCHAOUEN Exploring the charming blue and white medina of Chefchaouen, we visit the full variety of cultural attractions this beautiful town has to offer, from the Plaza Uta Et Hamman to the Ras el Maa before hea - ding to Fez. (B,L,D) Palais Medina, Fez (3 nights) DAY 6: FEZ Spend an exhilarating day in Fez visiting the Medina, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Nejjarine fountain. Discover the Royal Palace and the stunning Bab Bou Rabat (2 nights) DAY 3: RABAT
Jeloud gate. We continue with a visit to a tannery in the bustling souk and the pottery district. (B,L,D) DAY 7: MOULAY IDRISS, MEKNES & VOLUBILIS Explore the holy town of Moulay Idriss, at the base of Mount Zerhoun, before visiting Volubilis, the ancient imperial capital. Enjoy the famous Bab Mansour Gate, the Jewish quarter and El Hedim Square. (B,L,D) DAY 8: IFRANE, MIDELT & ERFOUD Today we take an idyllic route to the Sahara Desert, along the way admiring the parade of mountains, valleys, forests, and desert. We stop in Ifrane and Azrou, and in the plains of the Middle Atlas before arriving in Erfoud for the evening. (B,L,D) Kasbah Hôtel Xaluca Arfoud, Erfoud (1 night) DAY 9: MERZOUGA Admire the spectacular desert views from the top of a sand dune, explore a fossil mine and share in a tea ceremony with a local nomad family. Settle into our luxurious tented camp before a sunset camel ride and a Berber feast. (B,L,D) Xaluca Bivouac, Merzouga (1 night) DAY 10: BOUMALNE DADES & OUARZAZATE We explore Todra Gorge, a 300-metre limestone fault with a crystal-clear river before heading towards Bou- malne Dades. Our senses come alive as we visit the Valley of Roses. In the evening, we arrive in Ouarza - zate. (B,L,D) Le Berbere Palace, Ouarzazate (1 night) DAY 11: OUARZAZATE, AÏT BEN HADDOU & MARRAKESH After watching the action at the Ouarzazate film studios, we head to the ancient fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou, where we visit its famous Kasbah
