Jim Moragne to Succeed Warren as Chairperson
Recreation Grants NYSARC Trust Services’ recreation grants allow Chapters to experience fun, unique activities in their communities.
While we are deeply saddened by this loss, we are pleased to announce that Jim Moragne will succeed Warren as Chairperson of the Management Board of Trustees. Jim has been a valued member of our board since 2008 and has served as
Co-Chairperson alongside Warren since 2018. Jim brings a wealth of experience and profound commitment to our mission. Jim retired in 2013 after more than 30 years with the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, and subsequent years as a consultant. Jim has dedicated his career to improving the lives of people with disabilities and advancing the quality of care and support available to those in need. Jim’s experience guiding fiduciaries and families on future planning for people with disabilities and his technical knowledge of consumer benefits make him uniquely qualified to guide the Trust forward.
People at AHRC Nassau, had the opportunity to go to make their own pizza at Salvatores of Elmont.
The Arc Erie County hosted a picnic with their grant funds.
Coarc (Columbia) enjoyed a visit from the Two By Two Animal Haven, which provided the opportunity to see, hold and pet snakes, lizards, bunnies, turtles, goats, chickens and even a baby kangaroo!
Please join us in welcoming Jim as our new Chairperson, and expressing our gratitude for his willingness to step into this critical role. We are confident that Jim's leadership will advance trust services with the same passion and effectiveness that Warren exemplified.
