15. Which International newspapers are available to the guests at our hotel? Shangri- La has tied up with ‘Press Reader’ an online publication delivery site that brings to its clients a selection of over 2000 newspapers and publications from across the globe in many different languages. Press Reader is available free of charge across our Wifi network within the hotel. Should you prefer the more traditional print copy we have a choice of 3 newspapers; these newspapers will only be available after 14:00 hrs. • Washington Post (USA based), • Herald Tribune (UK Based), • Wall street Journal (Business Newspaper)
16. Is Internet chargeable to our guests? Internet is not chargeable to our guests except banquet guests.
17. Do we have Wi-Fi connectivity for guests who are not registered in-house? Wi-Fi is available for all guests of the hotel.
18. How does a guest connect to the hotel’s Wi -Fi network? Wi-Fi is available for all guests of the hotel. To log in to Wi-Fi, the guest needs to connect to the Hotels WiFi network. Once the guest fills in the required details (id and password) he will be able to browse the internet using hotel WiFi. 19. Where can guest place their valuables? Guests can use the electronic safe which is located in the wardrobe. The Guest can set a 4 digit password to lock and unlock the safe or the guest can use the Safety deposit lockers in the Reception area. 20. Where can the guest purchase postage stamps & postcards? All postage stamps are available with our concierge desk; Postcards can be purchased from maple the gift shop. 21. How many smoking floors do we have? We have 2 smoking floors; they are located at Level 12th and 14th. The exhaust system of these two floors is separate from the rest of the hotel to avoid the smoke smell from permeating to guest rooms. The closest smoking area for Lobby and Banquet guest will be the Lobby Lounge alfresco area. For Guests dining in the restaurants; the alfresco area will be the designated smoking area. “Sir/ Madam, the smoking area is located near the Lobby Lounge Alfresco area towards your right hand side. Allow me to show you across, this way please”.
